These cushions are hand embroidered by women artisans in Jaipur. Without access to education, these women began working doing simple tasks such as packing, but soon threw themselves into learning the art of needlework when the opportunity arose. This group of women, feeling empowered and with renewed purpose, began attracting others in the local community. Since the pandemic, it has grown in numbers, with more wanting access to skills training and sustainable employment.
