We’re here to help you decorate your home more mindfully.
We source surplus interiors stock by leading brands and save it from going to waste, selling it on to design lovers like you at the sort of prices usually only given to Trade customers. We also offer a limited collection of new, made-to-order textiles by independent designers who share our values called Haines Curates.
Whether finding fabric to send to an upholsterer for a headboard, or trying your hand at creating cushions or curtains from scratch, Haines is your partner in designing a creative, considered and sustainable home.
Haines was founded by an optimist with an eye for design and a passion for reducing waste.
After 15 years in the interiors industry, Jules Haines sought to find a solution to the environmental challenges it faced. In the UK, approximately 900,000 tonnes of textile waste is sent to landfill each year, leaving a substantial carbon and water footprint in its wake. Nearly half comes from household items. Jules set up Haines to raise awareness and enable brands to actively reduce their impact, whilst providing a resource for a growing consumer base who were becoming increasingly mindful of their own impact and shopping habits.
Today, our award-winning platform and sustainable approach to home decoration has seen us collaborate with inspiring people and brands both in our industry and further afield, gaining a supportive and engaged following along the way. Since launching in 2020, Jules has grown the team and surrounded herself with like-minded, creative people. Combining passion with purpose, we love nothing more than helping our customers find the perfect fabric for their next decorating project and saving surplus stock from going to waste in the process.
We're a pioneering platform on a mission to reduce waste in the interiors industry and accelerate the transition to a circular economy for home textiles and accessories.
By partnering with design brands to resell their unwanted stock, we enable them to actively reduce their impact whilst also helping design lovers to decorate in a sustainable way. Together, we’ve saved nearly 30,000 metres of textiles from landfill so far. And we’re only just getting started…
We're a small team based in a cosy studio near Tunbridge Wells, where we hold a selection of stock. For enquiries or to book an appointment, get in touch. Click on our faces below to find out more about us.

We are committed to being as environmentally-friendly as possible - both at HQ and in all areas of our business. Here are some of the things we are already doing to minimise our carbon footprint and have a positive impact:
- We plant a tree with every order through Ecologi. Read more >
- We donate a proportion of our annual profits to environmental causes. Read more >
- We ship fabric orders in either paper bags that are 100% recyclable and water resistant or repurposed plastic tubes.
- We use paper tape instead of plastic in 95% of our orders.
- Our packing chips are made from maize-based starch. They're fully compostable and biodegradable.
- We keep printing to a minimum. When required, we print on recycled paper and use recycled paper envelopes.
- Our studio is lit by LED lights, we use refillable water bottles, and we recycle our paper and plastic waste.
