When Daydress Founder Gabby Deeming told us last year that she had a surplus of seasonal fashion textiles she thought would work well as soft furnishings, we all saw the potential to create something really special.
As an interiors stylist and former Creative Director of House & Garden, Gabby is an expert in pattern and colour. Whether designing a dress or dressing a room, she draws inspiration from the past and re-imagines it for the present, combining traditional techniques and antique artistry with contemporary colours and modern pattern placement.
“I’ve always admired Haines’ approach of turning one person’s unwanted item into another person's treasured piece, so it’s been a real joy to see Daydress fabrics reimagined for the home. The colour palettes I’ve developed from season to season layer together beautifully, which makes them perfect for use in interiors.”

Through our collaboration, we’ve repurposed over 1,000 metres of surplus fashion fabric for use in interiors, supporting our mission of reducing textile waste.
“We want to make it easier for people to decorate their homes in an environmentally-conscious way. As this collaboration shows, being sustainable doesn’t have to mean sacrificing on style or quality.” - Jules Haines, Haines Founder
