Named after the Museum of Hand Block Printing in Jaipur, Anoukhi is traditionally made using this ancient technique. A repeating pattern is first hand carved into wooden blocks made from teak, sycamore or pear before pigment is carefully applied. This time-consuming process requires expert precision to line up each block in order to build the design.
