My Favourite Five: Natalie Tredgett

My Favourite Five: Natalie Tredgett

Canadian-born interior designer Natalie Tredgett, is celebrated for her bold use of colour and playful designs. After honing her craft under design legend Nicky Haslam, she established her own practice in 2012. We invited Natalie to select five fabrics and accessories from our current collection that she’d incorporate into one of her design projects. Discover her favourite items and read her advice on how to style them!

Wear The Walls Wallpaper, Mahalo

In the right context, I am always in favour of mermaids. Wonderfully playful in a corridor or bedroom, it is guaranteed to brighten anyone’s day.

Nichola Taylorson, Bela Embroidered Stipe

The embroidery and colour are rich and tactile. I would use it for light upholstery—curtains or a headboard—where the detail can truly be appreciated up close.

Pierre Frey, Rocky Boy

I love the boldness of the graphic scale. It is perfect for upholstery to inject energy and create a break from plains or smaller prints—an instant lift for any room.

Fermoie, Quartz

I love the texture and depth of colour. I would use it for lampshades to add an additional layer of warmth and personality to a room.

Bullion Fringe

Bullion fringe is pure joy, particularly at the base of chairs. It is a nod to the past that feels wonderfully celebratory.
