Favourite 5 with Isabella Worsley

Favourite 5 with Isabella Worsley

We’re delighted to welcome Isabella Worsley to our Favourite 5 series, where we invite leading designers to select a handful of pieces they love from the Haines Collection.

A London-based architecture and interior design studio, Isabella Worsley brings a thoughtful, refined approach to her work. After completing an MA in Architectural History, Isabella went on to gain over a decade of experience working with well-regarded interior design practices across both residential and hospitality sectors. She founded her studio in 2018, driven by a desire to create spaces that are not only beautiful and distinctive, but also deeply functional and considered.

Her work is characterised by a sensitivity to context, a love of materials, and a balance between classic and contemporary elements — all of which are reflected in her considered selection below.

Isabella’s Favourite 5

Pierre Frey Floral Cushion – Terracotta & Blue
Isabella is drawn to the timeless quality of Pierre Frey fabrics, and this cushion is no exception. The rich terracotta tones are beautifully offset by the vibrant blue piping, creating a piece that feels both classic and fresh. The contrast detailing adds a playful edge while maintaining a sense of sophistication.

Katie Leede - Leaf and Fruit Vine Cushion – Purple & Green
Celebrating craftsmanship and pattern, Isabella highlights Katie Leede’s distinctive fabric designs. This cushion, with its intricate vine motif and rich colour palette, brings depth and character to a scheme — perfect for adding a decorative layer to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Linwood Bagatelle – Green
Soft, calming, and quietly elegant, this design stood out to Isabella for its versatility. She envisions it in restful spaces such as bedrooms or bathrooms, where its gentle pattern can create a sense of tranquillity. It would work beautifully as an unlined soft blind, allowing the fabric’s softness to shine.

Anna French Balderic Stripe – Green
A subtle stripe can be transformative in a scheme, and this design strikes just the right balance. Isabella appreciates its small scale, which introduces interest and rhythm without overwhelming a space — ideal for layering with other patterns or grounding a room.

Malabar Braid Stripe – Blue & Beige
“There’s no such thing as too many stripes,” Isabella notes — and this design proves the point. The combination of blue and beige feels timeless, while the braid detail adds texture and definition. She particularly loves the piping detail, which elevates the overall look and adds a tailored finish.

Isabella’s selections reflect her wider design philosophy: a careful balance of colour, texture, and pattern, underpinned by a respect for craftsmanship and longevity. Each piece offers something distinctive, yet all work harmoniously together — much like her interiors.
