Favourite Five: Louise Tratalos Founder of Colours of Arley

Favourite Five: Louise Tratalos Founder of Colours of Arley
This month's Favourite Five guest is tastemaker and Founder of Colours of Arley - Louisa Tratalos. What began as a search for the perfect striped fabric one day, quickly turned into something much bigger - the creation of her own textile brand, Colours of Arley - now known for their bespoke striped fabrics in a huge range of colours.

We’ve been long-time admirers of Louisa’s joyful unique approach to design (and her stunning photography), so we’re thrilled to have her choose her five favourite fabrics from our collection. Have a scroll and see what she picked and how she’d use them at home.

"I chose this fabric because I love the shapes, they remind me of looking through a magnifying glass at nature - organic matter at a cellular level. "

"I'm obsessed with this colour combination, you can’t beat it. I would love to have this upholstered on a feature chair in a white room, with great art, and books around."

"A calming design, I think this would be beautiful for a bathroom roman blind, or a headboard to look at just before you go to sleep."

"I would love to have a whole room in this fabric, I think it would be amazing backed as wallpaper, so the room feels upholstered."

"Working in stripes, we are always looking for beautiful edgings and trimmings that can add detail to a scheme, and this is a perfect example. I’d love to pair this with a skinny stripe."
