Sustainability

"Our team is small; me and my cousin Alice. I set up a fabric screen printing business in 2021. I started on the kitchen table and now we’ve grown to fill a Somerset barn. Treading lightly on the earth is our guiding principle. Everything we create has been hand-printed and hand-sewn in the South West. We print with water-based inks, source European linens and are working towards making our own plant-based dyes. Its amazing overseeing the whole print process. We believe part of the answer to our sustainable future lies in returning to local crafts. Makers with a connection to the materials they use and the earth they inhabit. The linen we use complies with European REACH standards. Our suppliers are signed up to the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) and are certified by the GLOBAL RECYCLING STANDARD and WE MADE YOUR CLOTHES. We use water-based pigments, binder and fixer solutions from UK suppliers. We mix all our own inks using MagnaPrint eco-pigments that are OEKO-TEX compliant, ZDHC compliant and GOTS Approved." - Jessie of Jessie de Salis
